AAPE BY *A BATHING APE® joins forces with Seoul-Tokyo based visionary artist tree13 for the first time, to launch an exclusive Spring/Summer 2026 capsule collection featuring 3 limited-edition tees, each showcasing the essence of urban individuality and cultural self-expression.
The collection draws inspiration from tree13’s interpretation of the “hipster” as a cultural icon—individuals who remain true to their values, embrace creativity, and intentionally shape their own path. Guided by this philosophy, the collaboration fuses fashion, art, and street culture, using bold graphic expressions and urban-inspired visuals to reflect the raw energy and authenticity of city life. Each tee is crafted from premium cotton jersey and offered in both relaxed and regular fits, allowing for versatile styling and bringing layered artistic expression to everyday wear.

tree13 is a Seoul-Tokyo based illustrator celebrated for the vibrant, nostalgic style that draws inspiration from 80s and 90s Korean and Japanese animation, subcultures, and vintage magazines. His work blends pop illustration with bold typographic elements, creating a unique visual language that captures both rustic charm and refined sophistication. Known for collaborating with global brands and musicians, tree13’s art reflects a deep appreciation for cultural storytelling and timeless aesthetics.
